Arun River Rafting

The Arun River rafting belongs to the Koshi river system that flows in Eastern Nepal. The easiest way to get to the river is by flying to Tumlingtar. Alternatively, it is a drive for one and a half days and then trek for three days. Besides being the only Hindu country in the world with all to myths and mysterious character, Nepal has more than one hundred different languages belonging to various cultural groups. You can meet some of these different ethnic groups during the period of rafting. If we make camp then there will be professional staff such as cooks and helpers (well trained on emergency, medical, technical, and river safety).
Food: We are always conscious of serving hygienic meals and sterilized drinking water on the trips. Our chefs are Knowledgeable in Nepalese and international cuisines. The vegetables are iodine treated. We provide tin packed and fresh food.

Day 1: Fly to Tumlingtar for 45 minutes or 19 hrs drive to Basantapur by bus.
Day 2: Arrival at Hille Bazaar, after lunch a short trek, and overnight camping.
Day 3: Full day trekking and overnight camping.
Day 4: Full day trekking and camping on the bank of Arun River near Tumlingtar.
Day 5: Rafting and camping on the beach at Andherighat.
Day 6: Rafting and camping on the river bank at Barachhetra.
Day 7: Rafting to Chatara, lunch, and then drive to Dharan, continue by night bus back to Kathmandu.
- During rafting full board of meals such as (lunch, dinner, and breakfast with tea or coffee).
- Raft guides, cooks, and helpers.

- Return transportation from Kathmandu, Pokhara, or Chitwan.
